There are more than 60 kilometers of interpretive and hiking trails in the Magallanes Reserve. Such as the section of the Sendero de Chile called Bocatoma; southern limit of the Magallanes National Reserve. In addition to a path for people with reduced mobility.
The Magallanes Reserve was created in February 1932, with the objective of protecting the native flora and fauna of the sector. It stands out for its diversity and for being very close to the city of Punta Arenas, with very easy access and open from Monday to Sunday in high season and in low season with restrictions on some trails due to weather conditions. You will enjoy a unique landscape, with privileged views of the Magellan Strait, the city of Punta Arenas, and the native forests of the Patagonian ecosystem.

We go to each person accommodation in Punta Arenas, then we take the route to the Magallanes National Reserve, 8 kilometers distant from the city. This place stands out for evergreen landscapes, beautiful forest, and their nice views from the lookouts.
Arrival to the Reserve, we stop in the administration to do the registration, and the presentation of the trails. Trekking by diferents trails available according to the season and weather conditions, enjoying the beautiful view from lookouts, flora and native fauna of our region.
Return to the city of Punta Arenas.
Nationals: Kids under 11 years old are free. Between 12 and 17 years old 2.000 clp. Adults 3.000 clp, older than 60 years old are free. Foreigns: Kids under 11 years old are free, between 12 and 17 years old 3.000 clp, adults in general 6.000 clp.
Kids between 3 and 12 years old have 50% discount in the rate. Infants under 3 years old are free.
To make this tour we need at least 4 people in total, You can make an individual reservation, however the tour will be confirmed once we get 4 people. If we don´t get the minimum, we can try in a different date or we will return your payment.
