The Full Day Torres del Paine with Grey Lake Navigation is the best way to explore the park in just one day. First, you will sail on a catamaran across Grey Lake to see the impressive Grey Glacier. Then, the trip continues with stops at famous viewpoints such as Pehoé, Nordenskjöld Lake, and several panoramic points of the Paine mountain range. Later, you will enjoy the unique colors of Sarmiento Lake. Finally, the tour ends at Laguna Amarga, where you will see one of the best views of the Towers of Paine.
This park is one of the 11 protected areas in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic region. In total, these areas cover more than half of the region, with 6,728,744 hectares. The park was created in 1959 with the name “Grey Lake National Tourism Park”. Later, in 1978, UNESCO declared it a Biosphere Reserve. Therefore, its natural and cultural value has global importance.
This experience is perfect for travelers who want to combine adventure and scenery in a short time. It is also a good choice for families, photographers, and visitors with limited days, since you will enjoy both a navigation and the main viewpoints of Torres del Paine in one trip.
