Base Torres is one of the most visited trails in Torres del Paine National Park, because it´s part of one of the W circuit trails, and the main attraction is the viewpoint of the towers. To get to this lookout, you need to do a trekking of 4 hours one way and 4 hours return. The trail starts from Wellcome center in Las Torres estancia. You walk along the Almirante Nieto mountain and along the Ascencio River. On the route there is a contrast of Patagonian steppe and native forest. The final ascent is through a 1km moraine to reach the viewpoint at the base of the towers, an amphitheater with an impressive view.

We go for each passenger to accommodation places.
Entrance to the park by Laguna amarga entry, and after 7 kms by van we start the trekking.
In this place, we take 15 minutes rest, to eat something, and then continuing with the trekking through the forest.
We continue the route through the native forest, about one hour, then the last kilometre is rock moraine.

About 4 hours in total to return to the start point.

Foreign kids until 11 years old free, between 12 and 17 yers old 18USD, Foreign adult from 18 years old 35 USD. Foreign handicapped people under 11 years old free, handicapped people from 18 years old 35 USD.
Kids from 3 to 12 years old have a 50% discount, infants until 2 years old are free. Older than 13 years old pay the total.
